Completed in late 2025, this 1956 mid century home underwent a fully permitted remodel with the City of Austin while keeping its mid century charm.  All of the major systems were updated or replaced including a new roof, updated PVC sewer line, new water lines, updated gas lines, new water heater, new 200amp electrical panel and level 2 EV Charging plug, new HVAC system with new ductwork, double pane windows, new driveway, new flush panel insulated garage door and opener, and upgraded wall and attic insulation.

We kept the mid century modern vibe inside and out with a moody dark exterior paint color with contrasting yellow front door, which paired well with the original 1950's pink brick. Inside, we salvaged and refinished the original 1950's oak hardwood floors with nearly everything else getting a full refresh. From the walnut finish cabinets, color full bathroom tile, globe style lighting fixtures throughout, you get the mid century modern vibe everywhere you turn in this house.
